JEE Main 2020 Paper-2 for B.Arch & B.Plan was held on 01 September 2020. As per the officials, JEE Main (April Session) will continue till 06 September 2020. The candidates had to report at 07:00 AM, however, the exam commenced sharp at 09:00 AM. The examinees were not allowed after 08:30 AM. No candidates were allowed in the examination hall without the hall ticket and valid ID proof. The JEE Main 2021 is being conducted in multiple Sessions (February/March/April/May 2021). Due to COVID-19 pandemic, every candidate had to undergo sanitizing, body checkup for fever. Each candidate was given a fresh surgical mask at the entry point. At the entry point, metal detectors were used & no bags or wristwatches were allowed inside the examination hall. As per the examinees, entry was started soon after screening. Also, ballpoint pens & time clocks on the computer screen were given inside the hall.

JEE Main 01 September 2020 Paper Analysis

In all, more than 8 lakh candidates registered for the 2nd attempt for JEE Main 2020. Out of all, 13,609 candidates are appearing for B.Arch paper and 699 for the B.Plan paper. While 2777 candidates have registered for the B.Arch and B.Plan papers both. The Result is expected to be announced on 11 September 2020.

  • Part 1-Maths: Total of 25 questions were asked in this section (20 MCQ & 5 Numerical based questions) of total 100 marks.
  • Part 2-Aptitude Section: Total of 50 MCQs were asked of total 200 marks.
  • Part 3-Drawing Section: This section had 2 questions of total 100 marks.

JEE Main 01 September B.Plan Paper Analysis:

  • Part 1-Maths: Total of 25 questions were asked in this section (20 MCQ & 5 Numerical based questions) of total 100 marks
  • Part 2-Aptitude Section: Total of 50 MCQs were asked of total 200 marks.
  • Part 3- B.Planning Section: Total of 25 MCQs were asked of 100 marks.

Candidates Reaction on the Difficulty level of JEE Main 01 Sep Paper

  • As per the examinees reported, the numerical based questions in Mathematics were all lengthy in comparison to the January session paper. 
  • Aptitude & B.Planning papers were quite easy.
  • If compared to the January session paper, paper 2 was much easier if prepared well.

The reaction of Candidates on Management of JEE Main Paper 2

This time there was no biometric attendance, instead of a team of 4 invigilators came to each candidate & scanned the hall ticket. The examinees were asked to sit on the ODD numbers. The candidates were made to leave in lots after 12:00 PM with a proper social distancing formula.
