    CTET Expected Changes in 2019

    In 2018, CTET was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is expected that this year National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CTET 2019 exam. However, the same notification is yet to be announced officially. NCTE is also planning to introduce a new course Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) which will replace B.Ed and D.El.Ed course from the next academic session.

    CTET 2019 Notification

    The Notification of CTET 2019 will officially be released soon on the official website i.e. www.ctet.nta.in. CTET 2019 exam will be held on 07 July 2019. Candidates can apply online for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 on the official website. This exam is conducted twice every year earlier, but from a past year onwards Central Teacher Eligibility Test exam will be conducted only once a year.     CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    For Classes I-V: Primary Stage:

    • Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

    • Class 12th with minimum 45% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

    • Appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education Graduation and passed.

    For Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

    • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
    • Graduate with minimum 50% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    • Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
    • Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

    Age Limit: The minimum age required to apply for examination is 18 years and there is no upper age limit. The only condition is to fulfill the required educational qualifications needed for this exam.

    CTET 2019 Admit Card

    CTET admit card will available for download on the official website of Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The admit card for the CTET exam is issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates will be informed that CTET admit card will issue for only those candidates who have duly filled and submitted their application form for CTET exam.

    Admit Card will be released separately for candidates applying for both Papers I and Paper II, Paper I, Paper II.

    • Firstly, visit the official website of the exam.
    • Secondly, click on the “Admit Card” option.
    • Also, enter the registration number and date of birth.
    • Now, view the admit card.
    • Finally, take print of the hall ticket for the exam.

    CTET 2019 Answer Key

    CTET is an offline exam, many coaching institutes, and CBSE will issue the answer key for it. The Answer Key for CTET 2019 will be available after the conduction of exam. The answer key contains answers of questions asked in the examination.

    With the answer key, the Board will also upload the OMR of the applicants. Applicants can use the answer key to predict their marks in the examination. The applicants can also get a photocopy of the OMR by paying Rs. 500 via Demand Draft.

    CTET 2019 Results

    As part of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test result, the marks secured by the candidate in the exam as well as his qualifying status is listed. The CTET scorecard includes total marks secured by the candidate as well as marks secured by him/her in each subject.

    CTET 2019 Cut-Off

    The CTET Cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying scores that the applicants will have to score for qualifying the exam. The qualifying marks of CTET 2019 are 60 % and above. Candidates securing 60% & above will be qualified. Cut off marks will be released after the examination with the result. We will provide the CTET Cutoff 2019 exam with the previous year cutoff lists when the CBSE will release the cutoff list. The CTET Cutoff Marks 2019 will adjudge up on the total marks of both the papers. There are surely other reasons as well that play a vital role to determine the CTET Cutoff score.

    Validity Period of CTET Certificate

    • Validity Period: The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate is seven years from the date of declaration of its results for all categories.
    • No Restriction: There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate.
    • Improvement: Candidates who have qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
    • Duplicate copy: A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Marks Sheets or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fee.
