JNU Delhi Admission 2023 will be provided based on the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency at the National level for admission to various courses at JNU. This exam is conducted at the national level once in a year. This entrance exam offers admission into M.Phil, PhD, M.Phil / PhD through JRF, PhD through JRF, M.Tech, MPH, PGDE, MA, M.Sc. BA (Hons). The list of University Schools of inter-disciplinary research and teaching besides some Special Centres of Study is given below.

JNUEE 2023 Status

  • The last date to apply for UG (BA Hons/B.Sc+M.Sc) and CoP programs is August 2, 2023.
  • The last date to apply for PG (MA/M.Sc/MCA/MPH/MTech), ADoP, and DOP programs is August 10, 2023.
  • The application process is online and can be completed on the JNU website.
  • The admission criteria for UG and PG programs are different. For UG programs, admission is based on the marks scored in the CUET 2023. For PG programs, admission is based on the marks scored in the CUET 2023 and the candidate’s academic performance in their previous degree.
  • The merit list for UG and PG programs will be released after the application process is closed.

JNU Delhi Admission 2023 Application Form

JNUET Application Form 2023 through ONLINE MODE only. Candidates can go through this section to get detailed information about the Application form.

  • Candidates can fill the application form now at https://admissions.jnu.ac.in/.
  • Before filling the application form, candidates must be ready with a valid mobile number & email id.
  • The aspirant also has to upload a scanned photograph & signature in a JPG format during the time of filling the form
  • The aspirant has to fill the maximum three fields for the same level of courses in a single application form.
  • An aspirant can go for Application correction from 25 October.
  • For future reference, the aspirant needs to carry the Print of the form along with him.

JNU Delhi Admission 2023 Entrance Exam Eligibility

General:

  • NationalityIndian & Foreign national category candidates will be eligible to apply for JNU.
  • Age Criteria: He/ She would have attained the age of 17 years while applying.
  • There will be no age limit to apply for the examination.

UG Course:

For B.A (Hons.) 1styear:

  • Qualification: Should hold a certificate of 12th level examination with a minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in intermediate in year 2023 will be also eligible to apply for JNU.

For B.A (Hons.) 2ndyear:

  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify 1styear of bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from any recognized board or university.
  • Percentage: He/ She must score minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for the examination.
  • Proficiency: Candidates must have adequate proficiency in the concerned language.

For MCA programme:

  • Qualification: Should hold a 12th or bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/ BCA) with a  minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory subject: Candidates must have Mathematics as their mandatory subject to be eligible.

For MA programme:

  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify Bachelor’s degree in any stream under the pattern of 10+2+3.
  • Percentage: He/ she must score atleast 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

For M.Tech (Statistical Computing):

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a master’s degree or engineering (in any branch) OR MCA from any recognized board or university.
  • Mandatory subject: Candidates must qualify master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, operational research or in any other science branch.
  • Percentage: He/ she must score at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

JNU Delhi M.Phil. and Ph.D. Admission 2023

There will be a common/single question paper for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in the same field of study (provided intake is there in both the programme for JNUEE).

  • The entrance examination shall be conducted for both the programmes in the same filed on the same date and time, as per the schedule given in the Information Bulletin.
  • If any candidate intends to apply for these two Programmes of study i.e. M.Phil. and Ph.D. in the same filed, the candidate can apply for both the programmes and has to appear only in one common test and attempt the relevant question paper (in the same field).
  • The marks obtained by the candidate shall be considered for both programmes if opted for both.
