• Step 1- Firstly, search for the TN Board HSC Results official website i.e. tnresults.nic.in and http://results.nic.in/Examination_Body.aspx.
• Step 2- find the link which says “HSE (+2) Examination Results March 2025”.
• Step 3- Now, click on the link.
• Step 4- Also, enter Registration Number and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format. Click on Get Marks button and download the result.
• Step 5- Finally, the result will be displayed on the screen. In addition, download it and take a printout for future reference.

Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education

A separate Directorate called the Directorate of Government Examinations; TN was established in 1975 for conducting and regulating intermediate education in the state by the government of Tamil Nadu.  HSC Passing Marks 2025

Only those students are declared as qualified who obtain the minimum marks as set by the Board. Students need to obtain at least 70 out of 200 marks to be declared as qualified. In the theory exam, one needs to get a minimum of 40 marks out of 150, and for practical 30 out of 50 marks is needed.

Tamil Nadu 12th Revaluation Result 2025

After the declaration of results there are some students who are not satisfied with their marks obtained in the exam. They can apply for revaluation. The answer sheets are revalued by the three-member committee of subject experts. Those who apply for a scanned copy of the answer sheet can download the application for revaluation and submit it to the concerned Chief Educational Officer along with the fee in cash within the stipulated period of time. The result for TN 12th revaluation is declared generally 10-15 days after the processing of the application is over. The evaluation result is released in the pdf format. Only those candidates can apply for revaluation who also apply for the scan copy of the answer script.

Tamil Nadu 12th Re-totaling Result 2025

After the publication of TN HSC result 2020, students can also apply for re-totalling of marks. It can be done for all subjects in HSC exam. In the re-totalling process, any question which is left unvalued will be valued and marks will be given to the students. There are two ways to apply for re-totalling of marks:

• First is to apply for re-totalling after the publication of the result.
•  After getting the scanned copies from the board and then applying for it.

Fee to apply for Re-totaling – Students have to pay the following amount of fee if they wish to apply for re-totalling of marks.

Supplementary Examinations 2025

Those candidates who are unable to pass the examinations with the minimum passing marks. To save the year for the students and prevent them from appearing for the exams again the board conducts supplementary examinations as a second chance. Students need to fill in the necessary details in the application form and submit it by paying the required amount of fee. Once the board successfully conducts the supplementary exam, the board declares TN +2 supplementary exam result online.

Tamil Nadu Plus Two Results 2025 Toppers

Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TN Board) will not release a dedicated toppers list to avoid undue and unnecessary pressure on the students, which will eventually affect their mental and physical health as well.

However, instead of releasing topper names, the board does release key statistics and district-wise performance. This will create a healthy competition among districts and help students and teachers belonging to them perform better.
