  • The candidate must have completed Graduation in any stream/ must have completed diploma in Engineering.
 Postgraduate Diploma
  • The candidate must have completed Graduation in any stream/ must have completed diploma in Engineering
Advanced Postgraduate Diploma
  • The candidate must have completed Graduation in any stream.
MA [Sustainable Development Practice]
  • The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized Institution/ University.
  • The candidate should have prior experience in the development sector [not mandatory].
 MA [Public Policy and Sustainable Development]
  • Only the I DoPT sponsored Government candidates can apply.
MBA
  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with English at 10+2 level.
  • The candidate must have appeared in CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ XAT if the candidate has not taken the above exams they can take TERI SAS common entrance test. [Or]
  •  The candidate must have more than 2 years of work experience.
LL.M.
  • The candidate must have completed LL.B./ B.L. Degree from a recognized University / Institution.
M.Sc [Economics]
  • The candidate must have completed B.A. [Hons.]/ B.Sc. [Hons.] in Economics with a minimum of 50% marks/ 5.65 CGPA. [Or]
  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks/ 6.75 CGPA.
  • The candidate must have studied Maths at 10+2/ Bachelor level either as subsidiary/honours.
M.Sc [Plant Biotechnology]
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences/ Engineering/ Technology.
M.Sc [Geoinformatics]
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences/ Engineering/ B. Arch/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geology.
M.Sc [Climate Science and Policy, Environmental Studies and Resource Management]
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences/ Engineering/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geology with 6.75/10 CGPA/ equivalent determined by TERI SAS where letter grades/ 60% marks are given.
  •  The candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities have a relaxation of 5%/0.75 CGPA.
M.Sc [Water science and governance], PG Diploma, Certificate, M.Tech [Water Resources Engineering and Management]
  • The candidate must have completed Graduate/ equivalent in any branch of Engineering/ Postgraduates in Environmental Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Geology, Atmospheric Science, Economics, Geography, Agricultural Science with mathematics at 10+2 level.
M.Tech [Urban Development and Management]
  • The candidate must have completed BE/ B.Tech in any branch/ discipline, B.Arch./ B.Planning/ Masters/ equivalent degree in Science.
M.Tech [Renewable Energy Engineering and Management]
  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of engineering/ MSc with a minimum CGPA of 6.75/10 or equivalent or 60% marks.
Doctorate
  • The candidate must have completed 2 years M.Sc/ MA/ M.Phil in a relevant field/ equivalent. [Or]
  • The candidate must have completed 1 year PG degrees. [exceptional cases]
  • In extremely exceptional cases candidate must have a B.Tech degree in a relevant field/ equivalent with minimum 8/10 CGPA or 75% marks.
  • The candidates applying for part-time must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Organizations approved by the Department Research Committee.
