CAT 2022<\/strong>\u00a0Result <\/strong>will be issued tentatively in January 2023 by the IIM. It will be made available in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the result from the official website. The scores will be released tentatively in the month of January 2022. Candidates can check their result by entering their User ID and Password. The scorecard thus obtained will be further used for GD\/PI session and final admission. CAT 2022 Result Dates<\/h2>\n

How to Check CAT 2022 Result?<\/h2>\n

The procedure of checking the CAT Result is given below.<\/p>\n

  • To check the result, the candidate has to first click on the official website and login with his\/her User ID and Password<\/li>\n
  • After the Login, the candidate will see three tabs on the screen. These tabs are application summary, download application, candidate scorecard. The applicant has to click on the \u2018\u2019candidate scorecard\u2019\u2019<\/li>\n
  • The candidate\u2019s scorecard will now be available on the screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Normalization of CAT 2022 Result<\/h2>\n

      CAT EXAM happens in two sessions. Normalization of the result is done to obtain equality and fairness in the result. In the process of normalization differences in the score between the two sessions are taken into account.<\/p>\n

      Normalization is a well-known practice used by various educational institutions to compare the scores of test-takers across countries. It is also used in the national-level entrance examinations like GATE. IIMs implement percentile equivalence for normalization.<\/p>\n

      The normalization of CAT scores is likely to be similar to that used for GATE.<\/p>\n
