The <strong><em>BuLexConvo<\/em> Series<\/strong> was conceptualised as a platform to bring debate and discussion about various emerging legal issues with socio-economic dimensions to the forefront of academic conversations. The term<em> Lex<\/em> connotes \u201claw\u201d and <em>Convo<\/em> connotes conversation.\u00a0 The idea behind using the term \u201c<em>Convo<\/em>\u201d is to give interested stakeholders a chance to think out of the box and offer unconventional but sustainable solutions<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first event under the aegis of BuLexConvo, a national conference titled <strong><em>\u2018Conundrum of Theory and Practice in Legal Education\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is set to take place on the 15<sup>th<\/sup> and 16<sup>th<\/sup> of February 2019 at the School of Law, Bennett University, Greater Noida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference seeks to ask several disruptive questions which go against the grain. It will deliberate on the theory-practice chasm and its impact, lack of research quotient in law, technology disruption of attention span, lack of innovation in clinical legal education, innovation in continuing legal education and attendant issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference to be addressed eminent legal academics, emerging young academics and Apex Court Lawyers. Those who have consented include Prof. Menon founder of the first law school in the country, Prof. Ranbir Singh Founder Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR and NLU Delhi, Prof. Venkat Rao, Vice-Chancellor of NLS Bangalore, Dr.Lalith Bhashin, President of Society of Indian Law Firms, Mr.Venkataramani, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court, Prof.Vijay Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Bhopal, Prof.Faizan Mustafa Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR, Prof. Rajkumar, Vice-Chancellor of Jindal Global University, Mr Ramachander Rao, Co-Chairman of BCI\u00a0 and other prominent academics and legal practitioners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Legal academia cannot be limited to teaching, writing and the presentation of research. Rather, all these practices could be further enhanced by instilling a sense of enquiry and analysis. The <em>BuLexConvo <\/em>series hopes to establish the School of Law at Bennett University as a trailblazing forum for future legal debates in India.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bennett.edu.in\/event\/bulexconvo-series-invite-national-conference-law-development-social-inclusion\/bulexconvo-series\/\">Bennett University<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference also invites participates from academia and law firms to participate and interact with the invited resource persons.
