As per the circular, the existing Mathematics Board Examination is the standard-level examination. There will be no change in syllabus, Question papers for both Standard-Level and Basic-level will be based on the existing syllabus. However, the Standard-Level Mathematics assesses higher Mathematical abilities compared to Basic-Level. CBSE has announced there will be two Mathematics papers for students of 10th class. Before 2024, CBSE used to conduct only one mathematics exam.
