Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 2027<\/strong> \u2014 BDS is a professional undergraduate programme that comprises four years of academic study followed by one year of compulsory internship<\/strong>. It is considered one of the most popular courses among all medical programmes. Candidates who hold a BDS degree are known as dental surgeons; they specialise in dentistry, including the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and conditions of the oral cavity.<\/p>\n

The BDS degree is awarded on successful completion of the four-year academic education. The one-year mandatory internship in dentistry education leads to the full Bachelor of Dental Surgery qualification.
