The exam is conducted to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections of society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Odisha NMMS 2024 will be conducted on <strong>February 18, 2024<\/strong>. The exam will be held in two parts:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>MAT (Mental Ability Test):<\/strong>\u00a0This is a 30-minute test consisting of 50 questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test):<\/strong>\u00a0This is a 60-minute test consisting of 100 questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The questions in the MAT will be of non-verbal reasoning type, while the questions in the SAT will be of verbal and numerical ability type.<\/p>\n<h3>Odisha NMMS 2024<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minimum qualifying marks for the Odisha NMMS 2024 are 40% in each paper. The cut-off marks will be different for different categories of students.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarship amount under the NMMS scheme is Rs. 12,000 per year for classes 9 to 12. The scholarship is renewable every year, subject to the student maintaining the required academic standard.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The application form for the Odisha NMMS 2024 will be available online on the official website of the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT Odisha. A selection test is conducted by the state government for the respective students of the state.
