Through this scheme, eligible and deserving students will be provided with monetary support to meet the expenses of studies. This includes costs related to tuition fees, books, and other educational materials.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_Criteria_for_FSS\"><\/span>Eligibility Criteria for FSS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be eligible to apply for the FSS, applicants must have had an original annual family income of not more than INR 4 lakhs. Furthermore, they must have either cleared or been enrolled in a degree program at Delhi University before the COVID-19 pandemic struck and must show that their financial condition has been adversely impacted as a result.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Submit_an_Application_for_FSS\"><\/span>How to Submit an Application for FSS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To apply for the FSS, eligible candidates must fill out an online application form and submit supporting documents regarding their financial status. Applicants must also provide income proof and other related documents such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, bank statements or rental agreement to be considered for the scheme.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_of_FSS\"><\/span>Benefits of FSS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The FSS scheme offers numerous benefits to the students such as waivers on tuition fees, living expenses and tailoring costs. It also allows students to avail interest-free loans, grants and scholarships as part of the scheme. These benefits are meant to help students to partially or completely fund their studies, thus reducing the financial burden on them or their family members.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Deadlines_and_Last_Dates_for_FSS_Applications\"><\/span>Deadlines and Last Dates for FSS Applications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Delhi University has announced that the last date to submit applications for the FSS is extended till 31 January 2023<\/strong>. Interested students who wish to apply need to log in to their student portal and select the FSS option from the menu. They also need to provide all the necessary documents and pay the required fees before submitting their final application.
