From the year 2018 onwards, the Council has changed the passing marks. Now, the students need 35 per cent marks in each subject to be declared as qualified.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, along with the result, the Council also releases the cut off score for top 20 percentile for ISC class 12 exam. Candidates can request to council for re-check through online mode by filling an application form. For re-checking, candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000\/- per subject. If any mistake is found, the council will revise marks. The online re-check window will be opened only for seven days from the date of the announcement of results. During re-checking, the following terms will be checked:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>All the answers have been checked.<\/li>\n<li>Continuation sheets attached to the answer booklet are intact.<\/li>\n<li>If there is any mistake in the totaling of marks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important Instructions for ICSE ISC Rechecking Process 2024<\/h3>\n<p>Below we have provided some of the important instructions regarding the ICSE ISC rechecking process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rechecking applications will be processed for only those subjects for which the examinations were conducted by CISCE.<\/li>\n<li>Rechecking form is to be filled and submitted by online mode only.<\/li>\n<li>ICSE ISC rechecking forms are accepted only once, hence, do not submit multiple forms.<\/li>\n<li>Once the students submit the rechecking form, the Council evaluates the answer script and the Executive and Secretary of Council will access the result which would be considered as a final result.<\/li>\n<li>In the rechecking process, three things will be accessed such as all the answers have been marked, or there is a mistake in the totalling of the marks of each question as well as the same marks provided on the front of the answer sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ISC Compartmental Exam Discontinued from 2024<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The ICSE and ISC Compartmental exams will be discontinued from 2024.<\/strong> However, students will get a chance to improve their marks or grades in maximum of any two subjects in the same year. The exam will be termed as Improvement examination and will be held in July tentatively. More on this will be shared on the CISCE official website.
