The GLA University has been named after Shri GL Agrawal as a tribute to his work throughout his lifetime. The University has been established by his son and Shri Narayan Das Agrawal, who is the Chancellor at present in the year 1998 so as to fulfill his father’s dream to set up an institute of supreme quality which could offer higher education to the youth. The institute was recognized as a university under the UP legislative act of 2009.

G.L.A University Application Procedure
The registration can be online as well as offline.
- In the online registration process, the candidate is required to register for the online entrance test and then pay the application fee which is Rs. 700 either through credit card, debit card or through net banking. The payment can be done offline through cash or demand draft
- After the candidate is registered successfully, a unique registration ID and password will be communicated on the registered e-mail ID of the candidate.
- For the offline registration process, the candidate can download the application form from the website of university, fill it completely and then take a printout of the same. The form should then be sent along with a demand draft of Rs. 700 in favor of GLA University payable at Vrindavan. On the backside of the envelope, the course name applied for should be mentioned as well and should be sent to the admission coordinator of the university at the address mentioned below. The candidates will be responded within 7 working days with the receipt
