The role of NTA will be to conduct eligibility tests or entrance exams for Higher Education. most preferably the National Testing Agency is supposed to replace the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and others examination bodies from the responsibility of conducting the entrance examinations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Prakash Javadekar (Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India.) said on Twitter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Cabinet approves creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NationalTestingAgency?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#NationalTestingAgency<\/a> , a single agency to conduct all entrance exams for HE institutions. The central government will provide Rs 25 crores as a\u00a0one-time grant to start its operation.
