The IIT Kharagpur students are Celebrating True Diwali -Noiseless and “Festival of light” only<\/p>\n

This exceptional cultural festival\u00a0celebration is known to be Illumination or just ‘Illu’.<\/p>\n

The essence of this great occasion is the innumerable hours of unmatched commitment that the Students of IIT KGP Campus put in changing their thoughts into visual showcases with lights.<\/p>\n

Beginning from collecting essential raw materials \u00a0which involve steel wires, bamboo and diyas, the IIT KGP Students change them into heavenly structures with special themes.<\/p>\n

The thought is to utilise lights and distinctive shading impacts, to ring in the celebration feeling, said Aman Varma, IITian.<\/p>\n

There is a Cause behind why Diwali is known as the ‘celebration of lights’ and IIT-Kharagpur students demonstrate us precisely why it’s called that!<\/p>\n

Every year, Students of IIT KHARAGPUR CELEBRATES TRUE DIWALI by taking up project Illumination through where they light up the whole campus with a large number of diyas and flawless rangolis. 21 Houses\/Blocks goes under a competition by making artful culminations with a huge number of diyas on 1500 sq feet and 22 feet high, high structures.<\/p>\n

The lighting and rangoli work is a result of great teamwork, coordination and many hours of hard work. once the concept is decided The art\u00a0team get into form, coming up with a theme to express the design.<\/p>\n

Once that is finalised, the scaling up of design takes place and cast on the chatai.\u00a0While preparing The students first unfurl wide “chatai”\u00a0in the backdrop and use the fireproof material to make them fireproof. \u00a0then the diyas are put in the Steel wires tied to the chatais.<\/p>\n

The loosely woven cord \u00a0are immersed in oil and camphor and are attentively put in each diya.\u00a0And the results are worth it.<\/p>\n
