There is an opening for the post of <b>Assistant Professor<\/b> in various disciplines for the <b>Goa and\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<b>Dharwad campus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). <\/b><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">IIT Goa &amp; Dharwad Faculty Openings<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>Qualification For Assistant Professor-<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">A minimum of three-year experience related to teaching, research or anything professional.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">This experience must not include the experience gathered while doing Ph.D.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">Candidates should have their names published in well-recognized conferences and journals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">Candidates who are eligible but do not have the required experience will be appointed as Assistant Professor on the contractual basis.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">For the post of Assistant Professor (contractual basis), at the entry level, the candidates will be placed in pay band 3 varying from Rs. 15600 to 39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">After 1 year, the AGP will increase up to Rs.7000 and after 3 years to Rs. 8000 with a basic pay of minimum Rs. 30,000\/-<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">After the candidate completes the service for 3 years, the pay band shall move to pay band- 4 from Rs. 37,400 to Rs. 67,000 with an AGP of Rs. 9000\/-<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"justify\"><b>Pay Band For Assistant Professor-<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">Pay band-3 has been fixed for the post of Assistant Professor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">PB-3 varies from Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with an academic grade pay of Rs. 8000 per month.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">For those recruited directly, the minimum pay is fixed at Rs. 30,000 per month.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"justify\"><b>Important Guidelines Regarding Recruitment<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has been given the responsibility to be the mentor institute which is why all the recruitment procedure will be carried out by <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iitb.ac.in\">IIT, Bombay<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">The candidates applying for the post must be well qualified for the respective post.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\">Completely filled application forms for IIT Goa, Dharwad Faculty Openings must be sent to-<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><b>Registrar,<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><b>Indian Institute of Technology,<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><b>Bombay, Powai, Mumbai- 400 076<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian Institute of Technology Bombay will mentor the recruitment process for IIT Goa &amp; Dharwad Faculty Openings.
