West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will no longer conduct WBJEE EVETS from 2022 for admission in 1st year B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses. Instead, West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences has announced that admission to all 1st year B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses will be based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) merit in WB state. Thus to take admission in any institute of West Bengal in bachelor of veterinary and animal husbandry courses, candidates have to apply for NEET 2022 and qualify the same.
As per the communication received from the Authority of the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, WBJEEB will not conduct the EVETS examination for the academic session 2020-21 onward.
