IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2017-18: The initial task towards getting selected for IBPS Clerk Examination is to comprehend the IBPS Clerk Syllabus completely. However, before doing that, let us get to know the idea of the examination. The examination will be held online in two stages. Aspirants who will qualify in the Preliminary examination and shortlisted should appear for the Main examination. The area of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning is same in both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. The main contrast is that the Mains Exam of IBPS Clerk Exam has an extra area of Computer Knowledge and General Awareness i.e. the real three segments in the IBPS Clerk 2017 Preliminary Exam are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.

When a candidate clears the Preliminary Exam, he should begin getting ready for the Mains Exam. There are 5 segments asked in IBPS Clerk 2017 Mains Exam. These are Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness. An Aspirant must look into the last years’ papers to know the weight of the sub-topics asked in each segment from both preparatory and mains exam of IBPS Clerk 2017.
