SSC JE 2020 Tier 1 Exam has been postponed due to Coronavirus. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC JE 2020 Junior Engineer Examination. And the application form has been released on 13 August 2019 for Civil Trade, Electrical Trade, and Mechanical Trade. Also, the examination consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Moreover, the candidates who qualify in Paper 1 are eligible to appear in Paper 2. Then, the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Important Information regarding SSC JE 2020 Junior Engineer

Application Form for SSC JE 2020

  1. Firstly, the application form will be available for the candidates on the official website of SSC.
  2. Then, the aspirants need to submit all the necessary details and upload their recent photograph and signature.
  3. Also, the recent photograph must be of 8 Bits with the .jpg extension. Moreover, the size of the photograph should be in between 4 KB to 12 KB. Also, the resolution of the photograph should be 100 Pixels / 120 Pixels.
  4. Also, the signature must be of 8 Bits with the .jpg extension. Moreover, the size of the signature should be in between 1 KB to 12 KB. Also, the resolution of the signature should be 140 Pixels / 60 Pixels.
  5. Further, payment of application form fee is a necessary step without which the application form will be incomplete.
  6. However, the application form consists of two parts.
  7. Also, the applicants who complete first part and pay the application form fee can proceed to fill the second part of the application form.
  8. The candidates can pay the application form fee either through Online Mode or Offline Mode.
  9. Moreover, the application form fee will be Rs. 100 /-. But, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and other reserved categories need not pay the application form fee.

Educational Qualification
  • CPWD, Junior Engineer (Civil) – B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.
  • CPWD, Junior Engineer (Electrical) – B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.
  • Department of Posts, Junior Engineer (Civil) – B.E. / B. Tech. / 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.
  • Department of Posts, Junior Engineer (Electrical) – B.E. / B. Tech. / 3 Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil), MES – B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University and with 2 Years work experience in civil engineering works.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), MES – B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or 3 Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University and with 2 Years work experience in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering works.
  • Junior Engineer (QS and C), MES – B.E. / B. Tech. / 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University or passed the intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying (Sub Divisional – II) from the Institute of Surveyors (India).
  • Central Water Commission, Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical) – B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.
Age Limit
  • CPWD, Central Water Commission, and Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) – The maximum allowed age limit is 32 Years.
  • Department of Post and Junior Engineer (Surveying and Contract), Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical), MES – Candidates’ age limit should be in between 18 Years to 27 Years.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) – The maximum allowed age limit is 30 Years.
