UPSC CMS 2018: Combined Medical Services is an examination which is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) every year. CMS conducted to fill various vacant posts in various central government departments. The candidate has to qualify both the written and interview round to get qualified tag of CMS from UPSC. UPSC CMS 2018 Highlights

Name of the Examination: Combined Medical Services.

Exam Conducting Authority: UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Medium Of examination: English.

Eligibility Criteria

NATIONALITY:

  1. Candidate is a citizen of India.
  2. A subject of Bhutan.
  3. A subject of Nepal

 

AGE LIMIT:  Aspirant should not have been born before 22 July 1986, not more than 32 years as on 1st August 2018.

Educational Qualification

The aspirant should have passed the MBBS final examination to be eligible for this exam. Those aspirants who are in the final year can also apply but they are entitled to provide the certificate for the same.

The aspirant who is yet to complete their rotatory internship can also apply for the CMS recruitment exam.

UPSC CMS 2018 Application Form

UPSC CMS 2018 Application form is no longer available for the year 2018.

The application form is only available till 25th May 2018.

Application fee

The fee amount for various categories is as tabulated below:

The candidates can pay the exam fees online through debit/credit card or net banking facilities of the SBI group.

Documents to be Uploaded

Aspirants must have copies of the following at hand at the time of filling the Union Public Services Commission CMS 2018 application form:

  • Candidate’s passport-sized photograph (coloured) – Between 3kb to 40 kb in JPG format only.
  • Candidate’s Signature – Between 1 kb to 40 kb in JPG format only.

UPSC CMS 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for UPSC CMS 2018 will be issued by UPSC in the 1st week of July 2018.

This e-admit card will be available for download only through the website. The candidate will be able to access the admit card after logging in using their credentials. 

Examination Pattern

The UPSC CMS 2018 recruitment process has two stages:

  • Stage I: Entrance test (comprises of 2 Papers)
  • Stage II: Personality test/Interview.

Stage I: Entrance Exam

Duration

UPSC CMS 2018 will have two papers of 2 hours each.

Type of questions

The questions will be of objective type (MCQs) only.

Maximum marks

The total marks of the two papers will be 500 (250 + 250).

Total number of questions

120 questions will be asked in each of the two papers.

UPSC CMS Result 2018

UPSC CMS 2018 Result is expected to declare on last week of September & the first week of October. Candidate can refer the official website for result.
