Educational Qualification for  B.Sc Nursing: Candidates who will pass the qualifying examination as a regular candidate and pass in the first attempt, will be considered for  Bachelor of Nursing (B.Sc Nursing).

Educational Qualification Details are Described Below:

• The candidates must be passed Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination. which is equal to 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Examination) after a period of 12 years of study. Furthermore, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Or

• The candidate must be passed the Intermediate exam in the science of an Indian University / Board or the recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.

Or

• The Applicant must have passed the pre-professional / pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the Pre University or equivalent exams. The pre-professional/premedical exam shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Furthermore, English must be studied as a compulsory subject.

Or

• The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects provided the examination is a “University Examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.
• Sc examination of an Indian University provided that she has passed the BSc examination with not less than two of the following subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and further that she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
• Any other examination which is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.

Minimum Aggregate:

Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidates who have appeared in the 12th Class or equivalent examination are also provisionally eligible to apply and appear in the Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks at the time of counselling or admission.

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 17 years and not more than 22 years as on 31 December 2020. The date of birth of a candidate which was recorded in the Secondary Education Board (Class X Certificate) only will be taken as authentic. Upper age limit is extendable to not more than 25 years of age as on 31 December 2018 for a candidate holding B.Sc degree with at least two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and has passed the remaining subjects in the intermediate or equivalent examination.

Paper Pattern For B.Sc. Exam:

The examination for B Sc is of 2 hours duration. The candidates have to fill the application form and collect their respective admit card. The exam paper will consist of 120 objective-type questions (multiple choice).

The answers shall be indicated on the OMR Sheet and the evaluation of the sheet will be done through optical scanners and computers. Each correct answer will have 1 mark each.
