As of 04 September 2026, CBSE Class 11 is in full swing for the academic session 2026-27. CBSE Academic has officially published the Detailed Curriculum for 2026-27, available on cbseacademic.nic.in, which governs the syllabus for all CBSE Class 11 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Economics. NCERT books remain the prescribed textbooks for Class 11 as per CBSE norms. A new Curriculum Framework for Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence has been introduced for lower classes, with potential downstream implications for senior secondary courses. Teacher training programmes for skill subjects in Classes XI–XII are actively ongoing this September. No official revision to the core Class 11 syllabus has been announced for 2026-27 beyond the published curriculum. Students are advised to download the latest NCERT PDFs and cross-check their subject syllabus against the 2026-27 curriculum document published by CBSE.
