The merit list for Delhi DIET 2027 will be uploaded on the official SCERT Delhi admission website. In previous cycles, multiple admission lists and a spot round were used to complete admissions. The merit list will be declared category-wise and rank-wise according to seats allotted in Government DIETs and Self-Financing Scheme (SFS) Private Institutions.

For applicants who have appeared in the qualifying examination from a board other than CBSE, their aggregate score in the best 5 subjects, including a minimum of one language, will be considered out of a maximum of 500 marks.

To calculate the percentage from CGPA, the appropriate prescribed CGPA/GPA conversion formula will be applied.

For Example:

For Class 10 marks conversion, the CGPA will be multiplied by 9.5 (i.e., CGPA × 9.5). It is compulsory to mention the conversion formula of the board as stated on the mark sheet.

Tie-Breaker Criteria

In the case of two or more candidates having equal marks in the Class 10+2 examination, merit is decided by applying the following rules:

  • Class 10 marks are considered first to break the tie.
  • If there is still a tie, it is resolved by considering the date of birth. The candidate older in age is given preference in the merit list.
  • If the tie remains unresolved by any of the above rules, a draw of lots shall be adopted during preparation of the merit list.

Delhi DIET 2027 Selection Process

The applicant filling the Delhi DIET 2027 application form will be considered first under the general merit list, irrespective of the category they belong to. In the case of reserved categories, if a candidate does not find a place in the General merit list, he/she will be considered in order of merit in the particular reserved category in which he/she qualifies. It is also clarified that any candidate of any category who is given admission under the general merit list shall not be counted against the reserved category quota.

For selection under SCERT Delhi D.El.Ed. admission, applicants must score the prescribed minimum marks so that their names can be included in the merit list. The marks obtained in the qualifying examinations — i.e., Class 10 and Class 12 — shall be considered for ranking.
