AP EAMCET 2020 or Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (AP SCHE). Hence the eligibility criteria is released by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University. AP EAMCET is expanded to Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. This Examination acts as the qualifying exam for admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture and medical. Admission through AP EAMCET is done in the University/Private Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Examination (AP EAMCET) is conducted once a year and is a state level examination.

Nationality
  • Citizenship: Candidates should be an Indian citizen or must belong to the Person of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (Card Holders) category.
  • Applicants should be a domicile of the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and have a domicile certificate for the same. 

Age

  • Lower age limit: Candidate should be more than 17 years.
  • Upper age limit: as on 31 December of the admission year.
    • General Category must be 22 years,
    • SC/ST category, they must be 25 years of age 

         

Qualification   


  • Candidates applying for this course should have finished their 10+2 with       Physics, Chemistry and Maths as major subjects from a recognized board.
  • Diploma Candidates: Candidates who have completed or qualified the final year of diploma in engineering courses conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana are eligible to apply.
  • Marks required:
    • General- minimum 45% in PCM or Diploma.
    • Reserved- minimum 40% in PCM or Diploma.


For Pharm D

    • Citizenship: Candidates should be an Indian citizen or must belong to the Person of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (Card Holders) category.
    • Applicants should be a domicile of the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and have a domicile certificate for the same. 

Age

  • Lower age limit: Candidate should be more than 17 years by the date of commencement of admission.
  • Upper age limit: No upper age limit.

Qualification   


    • The candidate appearing for the examination should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2) with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
    • Marks required: minimum aggregate of 45% marks.


For Agriculture and Medical Courses

    • Citizenship: Candidates should be an Indian citizen or must belong to the Person of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (Card Holders) category.
    • Applicants should be a domicile of the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and have a domicile certificate for the same.

Age

  • Lower age limit:
    • Candidate should be more than 17 years by the date of commencement of admission.
    • For B.Pharm- Candidate should have completed 16 years of age
  • Upper age limit:
    • General Category must be 22 years,
    • SC/ST category, they must be 25 years of age
as on December 31 of the admission year.

Qualification


For B.Pharm- Candidates should have cleared or should be appearing in the final year of the intermediate with Biology, Chemistry & Physics subjects.
For Agriculture courses- candidates should have cleared or should be appearing in Higher Secondary or equivalent exam with any two or three of the given subjects:
    • B.Sc. (Ag.) & B.Sc. (Hort):
      • Physical sciences
      • Agriculture
      • Biological or Natural sciences
      • Vocational course in Agriculture
    • B.V.Sc. & A.H:
      • Physical sciences
      • Biological or Natural sciences
      • Vocational courses in Veterinary sciences
    • B.F.Sc:
      • Physical sciences
      • Biological or Natural sciences
      • Vocational courses in Fishery Sciences

 

    • B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Pharmacy & Pharm-D:
      • Mathematics
      • Biological or Natural sciences
      • Physical sciences
    • Marks required: minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
