JMET 2022 stands for Joint Management Entrance Test 2022 was conducted on National level by some institutes to provide admission to Postgraduate Programme in Management. Institutes like IISC and IIT School of Management used to consider JMET score. The exam was conducted by each of the IITs in rotation in the month of December held annually. JMET tested the candidate's knowledge of Numerical Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, and English Language and comprised of Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs). Joint Management Entrance Test was discontinued and replaced by the
Common Entrance Test(CAT) in 2011.
JMET is been replaced by CAT, the CAT score will be used for admission from this session. Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) stands discontinued. Admission to the Post Graduate Management Degree Programmes (MBA/M.Mgmt) for 2012 - 2014 in six IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) and IISc (Bengaluru) will be based on CAT 2011 score in place of JMET score.
