WBCS 2022 Application Form

The official authority of WBPSC will invite the application form for the recruitment of civil services posts in the state. So the candidates who are aspiring for the state government jobs must apply for West Bengal Civil Service Exam 2022. The WBCS Application Form for the recruitment of various Group A, B, C, D level posts in the state government offices and its subordinates in West Bengal. How to Apply for West Bengal Civil Services Exam 2022?

The civil services exam in West Bengal is conducted by the West Bengal Public Service Commission. So, the official authority will release the WBPSC 2022 Notification application form on its website. Candidates must apply online mode only. The steps to fill the online WBPSC application form are given below:
  • Initially, the candidates must visit the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission, wbpsc.gov.in.
  • Now, click on the “New User Registration” button given on the homepage. A new page will open on the screen where the candidates will have to enter all their details.
  • Upon completing the registration, Login using the User ID and Password. 
  • Further, you must complete the application form by filling in all the personal details, qualifications, contact information, etc.
  • Upload your photograph and signature in the same prescribed format.
  • Next, click on Pay Application fees and make the payment through online mode.
  • In the last step, Preview the application form, check all the details carefully, and finally click on the Submit button.
  • Candidates can take a print of the application form and save it for future references. 

WBPSC Application Fees

The candidates must pay the application fees for the West Bengal Civil Service exam. The WBPSC application fees for various social categories are different. The payment of application fees can be done through Debit/ Credit/ Net Banking and other UPI payment methods. This fee is non-refundable in any case. WBCS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The West Bengal Public Service Commission decides the minimum requirements for the candidates to apply for the exam. Only those applicants who fulfill the minimum qualification, age limit, and physical standards must fill the WBCS recruitment form for various posts. WBCS Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

Candidates who have applied for the WBPSC recruitment exam must check the selection method so that they can prepare themselves for the screening process. The official authority will recruit the candidates for various posts under the state government offices on the basis of the following criteria:
  • Written Examination- The candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam. There are two papers, Preliminary and Mains. The WBCS Pre exam is Objective type. However, the Mains exam has both Objective and Theory based questions. Only those candidates who qualify in the Preliminary paper are eligible to appear in the Mains exam.
  • Personality Test and Written Interview- Those candidates who are shortlisted in the written exam are eligible to participate in the Interview and Personality Screening Test.
