Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Scheme Application Process and Requirements.

Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible unmarried male candidates for a four-year B. Tech degree course under the 10+2 (B. Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the Executive and Technical branch and for the Education branch.

To be eligible to apply for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme, applicants must meet a few basic requirements. These include being unmarried and between the ages of 17-19 years old; having completed 12th class or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects; have at least 70% in PCM and 50% in English as per CBSE or ICSE guidelines. Additionally, students must also clear a medical examination conducted by Authorized Military Doctors at INS Chilka an SSB.

Check Eligibility Requirements (four-year B. Tech degree course)

Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main 2022 examination for B.E/B.Tech can are only eligible to appear. The call for the SSB will be issued on the basis of JEE All India Common Rank list issued by NTA.

  • Interested candidates can apply online at the official website of the Indian Navy at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
  • The 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme is open to unmarried male candidates between 17 and 19 years of age, who have completed 12th class or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects; passed a medical examination conducted by Authorized Military Doctors at INS Chilka or SSB;
  • and obtained at least 70% in PCM and 50% in English as per CBSE or ICSE guidelines. Successful applicants will gain a four-year B. Tech degree course under the Integrated Headquarters of Mod.
  • Age limit: The candidates should be born between January 2004 to July 2006
  • Educational Qualification: The candidates should have passed the class 12th examination with 70 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and 50 % marks in English in either class 10th or class 12th.

Prepare for the Recruitment Test, Interviews, and Medicals

After submitting your application, you will need to take a Navy Entrance Test (NET), as well as attend interviews and medicals. During the NET you will be tested on General Knowledge, English and Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude. For interviews you should be prepared to discuss yourself and your qualifications. Finally, during the medical examination it is important to disclose any medical illness that could affect your suitability for joining the Navy.
