DDE CHITTOOR is also known as Dravidian University, Directorate of Distance Education Chittoor. This university offer varies UG courses and PG courses. BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc and BCA at UG level. Each course at UG level is of 3 years duration except B.Lib/B.I.Sc which is of 1-year duration. Under PG courses MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Com, MCA and M.Lib.I.Sc. DDE offers direct admission to candidates in UG courses. For those aspirants who do not have any formal education, they should pass the eligibility test conducted by the state university. All the courses under BA program are available in both Telugu and English medium. Also, B.Com (Gen) and B.Sc (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) are available in English and Telugu medium.

The procedure of application form of the DDE CHITTOOR is given below:
- Application form of Dravidian University, Directorate of Distance Education Chittoor 2020 can be downloaded from the official website of the DDE.
- The application form along with prospectus can also be obtained from the office of Directorate of Distance Education, Dravidian University or from the Study Centers of DDE.
- Application fee of Rs. 350 can be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of, Director, DDE, Dravidian University, payable at Kuppam.
- Duly filled registration forms with all enclosures have to be sent by post to The Director, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Dravidian University, Srinivasavanam, Kuppam- 517 426 Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
Note: Filled in application form can also be submitted to any of the centres of the Dravidian University along with their code numbers.
