Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was established in the year 1967 and it is an affiliated college of Delhi University. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers admission to 10 UG courses of arts, commerce and science subjects followed by 1 PG Course in Commerce. SBSC Admission 2020 UG Courses

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers admission to 10 UG courses and admission to the courses will be based on the scores of the qualifying examination. The college will upload the cutoff criteria according to which admission will take place. The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognized board or its equivalent. Admission will be based on the marks secured in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2). The other details related to admission in UG courses can be found below:

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers admission to PG courses and admission to the courses will be based on the scores of the qualifying examination. The college will upload the cutoff criteria according to which admission will take place. The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have completed a bachelor degree from a recognized board or its equivalent. Admission to M.Com will be based on either mark secures in the qualifying examination or through entrance examination. The other details related to admission in UG courses can be found below:

How To Apply For SBSC New Delhi?

The application form can be filled online through the official website of Delhi University and the application fee must be paid through the online mode of Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

  • Visit the link of DU: http://du.ac.in/du/
  • Click on the UG/PG portal.
  • Register through email id and phone number
  • An OTP will be sent via mail/SMS.
  • Enter the OTP and fill the application form.
  • Enter the required personal information.
  • Type the academic details.
  • Scan and upload photograph and signature followed by the supporting documents.
  • Pay the application fee through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.
  • Submit the filled application and take a print out of it.

SBSC New Delhi Reservation Policy:

Reservation will apply to all the courses. Candidate belonging to these categories must have the caste certificate with them for verification at the time of admission.

Admission for Reserved Categories

  • Separate cut-off percentage will be declared for each category
  • There will be no additional criteria for the reserved categories
  • For each category, there would be separate cut-off percentages declared. No additional eligibility criteria will be required for the candidates from all the reserved categories. Students will be required to submit their reserved category certificate which should be self-attested
  • In all UG courses, 3% of the seats are reserved for the candidates who have a physical disability (the disability should not be less than 40%)

International Student Admissions

All the foreign students would be offered admission through the Office of the Foreign Students Advisor. All the international students are expected to undergo a medical examination within one month of their admission according to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The admission of all the international students will only be confirmed after the results of the medical fitness examination and the admissions would remain provisional till then.
