Sri Aurobindo Evening College UG Admission 2020

Sri Aurobindo Evening College offers courses in Commerce and Arts subjects at the UG level. BA (Honors) is offered majorly in Hindi and Applied Psychology. BCom is offered at both Honors and Programme level. Candidates must have passed class 10+2 examination for admission in these courses. Admission is purely based on the cut off list prepared by the University of Delhi. Students whose marks fall under the cut-off marks issued by the university can take admission at Sri Aurobindo Evening College. SACEVE New Delhi Reservation Policy

Given below is the course-wise reservation for Schedule Caste (SC)/Tribe (ST) Applicants:
  • Out of total seats, 22.5% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes candidates (15% for Scheduled Caste and 7½% for Scheduled Tribes, interchangeable, if necessary).
  • Relaxation to the extent of 5% in the minimum marks shall be given to the students belonging to SC and ST to determine their eligibility and merit for admission to the programme concerned.
  • If the reserved seats still remain vacant after giving 5% relaxation, further relaxation would be given to the extent required in order to fill all the reserved seats. All the Colleges/Departments must fill all the seats reserved for SC/ST candidates. Eligibility in these cases is a pass percentage.

Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) Admission Process 2020

Candidates have to follow the steps given below in order to apply for Sri Aurobindo Evening College Admission 2020:
  1. Delhi University releases a pre-admission form available for admission in all the colleges affiliated to Delhi University including Sri Aurobindo College (Evening).
  2. For admission in any regular course at the Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), candidates need to fill the same pre-admission form.
  3. Candidates seeking admission through extra-curricular activities and sports are exempted from this and have to apply via ECA quota.
  4. College will display the cut-offs on the dates announced by the University. Applicants should verify that their marks should be equal to or more than the cut-offs announced and should meet all the eligibility criteria (including relevant special requirements)
  5. Once the cut-off lists are announced, shortlisted candidates for admission would be required to fill in Sri Aurobindo College (Evening)’s Application Form before taking admission in the college.
  6. The application form should be filled completely online. Incomplete application forms would not be accepted by the college.
  7. Students seeking admission have to be personally present in the college for the documents verification purpose.
  8. Final decision regarding admissions will be taken by the University of Delhi or college administration.

Candidates have to produce the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission:

  • DU Registration Form (Along with the College Name and the Course to which the he/she wants to take admission)
  • Duly filled Reference Card (Detached from Admission Form supplied by the college)
  • Class X Board Examination Certificate
  • Class X Marks-Sheet
  • Class XII Marks-Sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
  • Character Certificate (recent)
  • SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of candidate) issued by a competent authority
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of student) issued by a competent authority
  • Migration Certificate from school / college from Board / University are required from students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
  • Two passport size self-attested photographs

International Student Admissions

All the foreign students would be offered admission through the Office of the Foreign Students Advisor. All the interested international candidates have to undergo a medical examination within one month of their admission according to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The admission of all the international students will only be confirmed after the results of the medical fitness examination and the admissions would remain provisional till then

The candidates who wish to take admission in any one of the courses that are offered by the college will have to first check the Sri Aurobindo (Evening) cut-off list 2020. The candidates will have to check if they meet the criteria of the cut-off list that has been released by the college.
