On 21 August 1969, Shree Velagapudi Ramakrishna Memorial College (SVRMC), Nagaram was established. Basically a (Autonomous) Government Assisted College funded by R.T.E.I. Society. It is one of the prestigious Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur affiliated college and accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.
"Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya," meaning that the bright light of truth is expanding everywhere, expecting the darkness of world ignorance.
SVRMC campus is spread over 25 Acres.The college was created as an act of faith. The impulse behind this is the great idea that every human being has the inalienable right, through education, to build the full facilities of his personality.
