Swami Shraddhanand College Application Process 2020

Candidates seeking admission in Swami Shraddhanand College must have to apply in online mode. They have to register online from the official website of the University of Delhi. Given below are some steps to apply:

  • Go to the Delhi University official website.
  • New candidates have to register by clicking on the ‘New User Signup’ option on the home page.
  • After completion of the registration process, a verification email will be sent to the candidates’ e-mail ID.
  • Click on tab displaying ‘Confirm registration’.
  • Log in again to the UG/PG admission portal by clicking on ‘Registered User’.
  • Candidates have to enter Personal details like - Candidate’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Parent's Name, Address, Phone Number, City, state, and Pin code.
  • Candidates from reserved category have to enter their category (SC/ST/OBC/PH).
  • Students have to pay for the course which they want to pursue as per their eligibility.
  • They can choose more than one course at the time of application.
  • Candidates must have to submit the application form along with the application fee (Rs 100 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 50 for SC/ST candidates) by Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • In the last upload of the documents, fill the details asked in the application form, and submit it.
Documents to be uploaded:-
  • Scan copy of Class X mark sheet, Class XII mark sheet
  • Scan copy of bachelor’s degree or provisional degree
  • Photograph and Signature scan copy
  • Category certificate, SC/ST/OBC 
  • A certificate with reference for Kashmiri migrant, sports quota or Extra-Curricular activities (ECA) quota (if applicable)
Candidates must carry the original documents along with the photocopies during the counselling session:
  • Character certificate from the last attended College or School 
  • Class X certificate as proof of the date of birth
  • Provisional certificate of the last passed examination
  • Class X, XII Marksheet
  • Graduation Certificate (for Postgraduate candidates)
  • Four passport size recent photographs.
  • Address Proof of both students and Parents
  • Aadhar Card
  • Candidates from the BPL category have to submit their income certificate/affidavit for purpose of student aid fund at the time of admission.

Swami Shraddhanand College Reservation

There is a reservation of seats upto 15% for schedule castes, 7.5% for schedule tribe, 27% for OBC, 10% for EWS, 4% for physically handicapped, and 5% for children/widows of ther Armed Forced killed or disabled in action in wars from 1947-48 onwards. Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and others should produce a certificate from the commissioner, or any other authority recognized bu the university of Delhi for this purpose.

Swami Shraddhanand College is a part of Delhi University established in 1967, run under the trusteeship of the Delhi government. The college is fully computerized and also integrated with the University of Delhi Library Systems. The college has an extensive lush green playground which provides an excellent opportunity for sportspersons and athletes to practice and improve their skills and capabilities. Scholarships are provided to the minority students and freeships are given to students from economically weaker sections. Every year a number of prizes are awarded to meritorious students for their extraordinary achievements in academic and extra-curricular activities. The student's societies and associations play a vital role in improving the academic environment of the college.
