Oxford College of Engineering Undergraduate Admission 2020

The Oxford College of Engineering offers a B.E course with various specialization and B.Arch. For B.E. the candidate who has at least 45% mark in three subjects i.e. Physics/ Mathematics/ and either of these subjects Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics with English as a compulsory subject language they are eligible for this course and for B.Arch. applicants must secure at least 50 % marks in all subjects of PUC with Mathematics as an optional paper. The applicants of reserved category from Karnataka state i.e. SC/ST/OBC secure at least 40% marks in the relevant discipline. For B.E. candidates are selected on the KCET scores or scores in JEE Main and for B.Arch the selection is on the basis of scores obtained in NATA entrance. Admission Process

KCET

Those students who wish to apply for B.Tech or BE will take the Karnataka Common Entrance Exam. Students living outside Karnataka are expected to pay INR 750. The application fee is made through a challan. Details for registering and submitting KCET applications are given in the following section.

How to Apply?

Applications for admissions are accepted online through the official website www.kea.kar.nic.in. The following steps to fill an application, have been given below:
  • In order to create a new user ID and password, applicants must first register as a new user by filling in the fields needed.
  • When candidates have a PUC number, new credentials can be produced.
  • The candidate must log in using the credentials created during registration to start filling out the application.
  • Information can be requested by candidates to upload their scanned documents, to pay a fee, and to request an application.

JEE Mains

The application fee for taking this exam varies depending on the type of applicant. INR 325 is the application fee for the general group. The following section sheds light on the criteria and the registration process for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

  • Colored or black/white (but strong contrast) JPG / JPEG format scanned and recent images. It should be between 10 kb and 200 kb in size.
  • JPG / JPEG format scanned signature. The size should range from 4 kb to 30 kb.
  • Application forms with vague images will be refused.

  • To create a user I d and password, register by giving your personal information.
  • After submitting the information for registration, the application number will be produced.
  • Personal information, address, and mobile number are required for the form.
  • You will set your security query and password to access the future application.
  • By logging in with the same user I d and password you have set, submit the application form.

Oxford College of Engineering Postgraduate Admission 2020

The Oxford College of Engineering offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA. The eligibility criteria for M.Tech applicants must have BE/ B.Tech in the respective discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university, for MBA applicant must have a graduation degree in any of the discipline from the recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, for MCA applicants with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any of the disciplines from the recognized university with at least 50% including one language in any one of the elective subjects Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming. How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GATE Online Application Processing. Where the candidate must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

  • Scanned and signature photography
  • Picture ID Valid (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving License / PAN Card / Voter ID / College ID / Employee Identification Card / Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address Notarized Affidavit).
  • Certificate of Degree / Provisional Certificate / Completion Certificate of Course.
  • Copy of the V / VI / VII semester labeling sheet.
  • Students in the final year must apply the Provisional Letter of Certificate in the format issued by the Home of Institute / Dean / Registrar / Head of Dept.
  • In the case of technical equivalent qualifications, applicants in the final year of AMIE must show their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE.
  • Caste Certificate / Disability or PwD (if applicable) Certificate.
  • The qualifying degree credential has to be presented to applicants seeking a higher degree or master's.

For MBA

Students who are willing to apply for an MBA must take the Karnataka Management Aptitude Exam. The application fee is INR 856, which must be charged by the general group through a DD. The following segment focuses on KMAT registration and the submission of applications.
