AISSEE 2021 Merit List
AISSEE 2021 Result will be declared in the form of a merit list on 28 February 2021. Following are some important points related to the merit list of this exam.
- Based on the marks earned by the applicant, the merit list for admission to the Sainik School will be compiled.
- If a tie occurs concerning overall scores, the marks for mathematics will be taken into account.
- If there is a tie, the English marks for Class 9 and the Intelligence Test for Class 6 will also be considered, followed by the General Science marks for Class 9 and the Class 6 languages.
- If there is a tie, marks obtained in the written examination will also pick the applicant younger in age to decide his place in the final merit list.
AISSEE 2021 Cut Off Marks
For general category candidates as well as children of Defense Services personnel and ex-servicemen, the minimum qualifying marks for each subject shall be 25% with 40% in aggregate, unless these qualifying criteria are updated or modified by the Honorary Secretary by the issuance of written instructions.
Minimum qualifying requirements are not needed for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes candidates and will be admitted to the Entrance Examination within these categories based on merit. If an SC / ST candidate comes on his own in the general merit, he will be admitted to the general seat and would not be qualified for the reserved share of the SC / St seats.
AISSEE 2021 Reservation
- For Scheduled Castes, 15% of the total seats are reserved and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes.
- 67% of the remaining seats will be reserved for children from the state where the Sainik Schools are situated. Balance In the ratio of their male population, 33% leftover from seats would be thrown open to children from other States and Union Territories. Any unused seats in this group will be paired with seats from the home state.
- 25% of seats are reserved for service staff children, including ex-servicemen.

AISSEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

AISSEE Class 6 Application Eligibility
- The student must be between 10-12 years old as of 31 March 2021 (born between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2011-inclusive of both days).
AISSEE Class 9 Application Eligibility
- Only boys from a recognized school in India who are studying in VIII are eligible to complete the Class 9 application form for AISSEE 2021.
- The age of the student must be between 13-15 as of 31 March 2021 (born between 1 April 2006 and 31 March 2008-inclusive of both days).
