Allahabad University UGAT 2023 i.e. Allahabad University Under Graduate Admission Test will be held tentatively in the month of July. It is a university-level exam that is conducted every year. Aspirants get admission in various UG degree programs such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc. (Maths), B.Sc. (Bio), B.Sc. (Home Science), B.F.A, BPA at the University of Allahabad and its constituent colleges. Allahabad University UGAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The AU has some eligibility requirements that every candidate is required to fulfil to appear for the exam.
- Candidates must pass a Class 12th exam from any recognized board.
- Candidates who have passed the Class 12th exam with the science stream are eligible to apply for B.Sc. courses.
- Candidates who have passed the Class 12th exam with science/commerce stream are eligible to appear the for B.Com course.
- For BA (Music)/ BPA, only applications of those aspirants will be considered who have music as an optional subject in Class 12th.
- Only those female aspirants are allowed to apply for B.Sc (Home Science) course who have passed the science group or had home science as a subject in class 12th.
- For BA (Urdthe u), the application of only those aspirants will be considered who have studied Urdu as an optional subject in Class 12th.
- Application of only those aspirants will be considered for BA Geography who have Geography as an optional subject in Class 12th.
Note: Candidates who hold a Graduation Degree in any stream are not allowed to apply for any of the streams of UGAT-2023

- Marking Scheme: +2 for each correct answer

Out of seven subjects, namely Civics, Logic, Sanskrit, Economics, Geography, History, and Urdu each subject will have 25 questions. The candidate will have to choose any three subjects from the subjects mentioned above.
For B.F.A (Practical test)
Admission to BFA and BPA courses will be done based on the entrance test and practical test. Candidates are required to appear in UGAT BA entrance test and a practical test to take admission to the BFA course. Check the mark distribution below for BFA courses.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for Allahabad University UGAT 2023
- Candidates who the ore the highest marks obtained in Class 12th will be considered.
- If the tie still exists, then Candidates who the ore highest marks obtained in high school will be considered.
- If the tie still exists, then the tie will be resolved through a draw of lots.
Allahabad University UGAT 2023 Counselling
The details regarding the counselling and admission process will be available on the AU official website. The counselling process is conducted to provide details about the availability of seats according to the rank secured in the merit list. The candidate is required to be physically present at the time of counselling and allotment of colleges. The candidate is required to bring the original as well as attested copies of documents for verification. Without the document, the verification candidate will not be allotted any seat in the university.
