HTET 2020 (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by Board of School Education (BSEH), Haryana which was earlier known as Haryana State Board Of Technical Education. The exam is conducted once every year at the State Level. This exam aims to recruit candidates for the post of Teachers in Haryana State. The candidates willing to make their career in the teaching field can appear in this exam. HTET 2020 Application Form

The candidates need to be familiar with all the information regarding the HTET Application Form 2020. Also, the candidates need to refer the details given below to know more about HTET Application Form:

  • HTET Application form will be available on the official website expectedly in the month of November 2020.
  • Besides this, applicants could make corrections in their application form for the dates will be announced by the authority.
  • Candidate will have to upload the latest photograph, thumb impression and signature as prescribed by the authority.
  • Applicants will have to pay the application fee to complete the application process.
  • No correction will be allowed in level, caste category and Physically Challenged category.
  • False, incorrect and inaccurate information may lead to the cancellation of the application form.

HTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before the applicants apply for HTET 2020, they need to satisfy the entire eligibility requirement as per Service rules to become a teacher of the respective level.

Education Qualification:
Level I – Primary Teacher (PRT)
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary school.
 Level II- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • Applicant must have done graduation and B.ED in relevant subjects.
Level III- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
  • Applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must have done post-graduation and B.ED in relevant subjects.
Age limit
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 38 years.

HTET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The questions will be asked in the form of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Each question will be carrying one mark.
  • No negative marking will be done for the wrong answer.

HTET 2020 Preparation Tips

Candidates can follow these given preparation tips during their exam preparation. These tips will help the candidates to score good marks in the HTET entrance exam and hence qualify this exam.

  • Candidates need to follow a proper time table and must ensure that they stick to it.
  • Also, they must make proper notes of every topic. This will help them to do their revision quickly before few days of the exam.

HTET 2020 Admit Card

The candidates must have all the important information about HTET Admit Card 2020 so that they download the same before the last date. Details of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test Admit Card are provided in this section below:

  • Candidates will have to download the HTET 2020 Admit Card only through the official website.
  • No candidate will be permitted to appear for the exam without HTET admit card.
  • No change of exam centers will be allowed under any circumstances.
  • HTET 2020 Admit card was not be sent by post.
NOTE: In case of any discrepancy noticed in admit card such as candidate’s, photograph, thumb impression and signature etc., immediately contact special exam cell/authority along with proofs i.e. 10th /secondary class certificate, confirmation page,  two coloured photograph copies, fee payment proof etc. for making necessary corrections.

HTET 2020 Answer Key

HTET Answer Key 2020 is provided by the conducting body on its official website after the exam.

  • The answer key for HTET 2020 will be released in PDF format for all the sets.
  • With th help of answer key, estimated score of HTET can be calculated.
  • The answer key is the set of all the right answers to the questions in the exam.
  • Official HTET answer key becomes the basis of evaluating the answer OMR sheets of the candidates and therefore, the result is prepared on the basis of this answer key.
  • The authority gives an opportunity to raise an objection against the answer key if not satisfied with the released one. In such they will have to submit the proof in favour of objected answers.

HTET 2020 Result

The candidates need to refer to this section to get all the important information regarding HTET Result 2020:

  • Board of School Education has released the  HTET 2020 result on their official website.
  • The candidates can download this to check their result.
  • In case it is found that the information provided by the candidate is false or inaccurate it may lead to cancellation of the Test result or the certificate issued and it might even lead to prosecution in appropriate cases. 
  • The authority will provide Haryana TET Certificate to the candidates; who have obtained qualified marks in the examination. The BSEH will award separate certificates for students, those will be qualified in more than one level. The certificate will be valid for a period of 5 years, from the date of issuance.

HTET 2020 Counselling

The candidates need to have all the required information regarding HTET Counselling 2020. This will help them to easily attend the counselling round and hence for their final selection.

  • The HTET 2020 counselling will be conducted by the Board of School Education ( BSEH) by the Third week of July 2021.
  • Also, the candidates need to regularly check the BSEH website to get information about the counselling schedule, documents need at the time of counselling etc.

About HSEB

Haryana School Education Board (HSEB) formulated in 1969, is now known as Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). has the authority to conduct the exam for recruitment of Post Graduate, Graduate and Primary school teacher under the guidance of Haryana state government. It is owned by the department of education of Government of Haryana. The Haryana SEB was established first in Chandigarh in the year 1969 with 100 personnel from the Punjab University. The Haryana Board conducts the annual examinations for Class 8th, 10th and 12th in the month of March. BSEH also conducts Diploma in Education (D.Ed.). The integral part of the HBSE, Haryana Open School (HOS) conducts annual and supplementary examinations at secondary and senior secondary levels.
