MELAB 2021 or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery is an English language proficiency test held in over 70 countries. This test is for every age and level and also offers the opportunity to gain a respected international certification backed by both the University of Michigan and Cambridge Assessment English. There are 07 tests held under MELAB namely, MYLE, MET Go, MET, ECCE, ECPE, Michigan-EPT and GSI OET. This test is held 04 times a year. Read the whole article to know more about MELAB 2021 Exam.

MELAB 2021 Registration

Aspirants must keep the following points in mind while registering for MELAB 2021:

  • The Registration without passport photo or test fee will not be processed.
  • Candidates cannot register for speaking test only, it has to be in conjunction with most recent written MELB test scores.
  • While entering the details applicants must give their authentic and active information like their contact number and email id, etc.
  • Any incomplete form will lead to rejected without any prior notice and also no refund will be made.
  • For exam dates, they need to contact the nearest MELB Test Center.

How to Apply for MELAB 2021?

The candidates can follow the below-given steps to apply for MELAB 2021 exam:

  • Step 1 - Visit the official website at michiganassessment.org
  • Step 2 - Download and print the MELAB Identification form
  • Step  3- Enter the information asked in the form carefully
  • Step 4 - Attach a passport-sized photograph in a prescribed format.
  • Step 5 - Send or take it to the nearest available MELAB Computer Based Test Center along with the test fee

MELAB 2021 Test Format

There are six kinds of tests which are conducted under MELAB viz; MYLE, MET Go, MET, ECCE, ECPE, Michigan-EPT and GSI OET. The candidates who are seeking for this exam can get the detailed format separately for all tests:

MYLE ( Michigan Young Learners English) - for the age group of 06 to 10 years.
  • The tests-Bronze, Silver, and Gold-cover all four language skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).

MELAB 2021 Score

The candidates receive a certificate and statement of results few days after taking the test. 

  • All results are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to provide an internationally recognized level of ability.
