PU MEET 2020 will be conducted by Punjab University on 18 October 2020. The Application was already available on the official websites, candidates can apply till 01 October 2020 through online mode. PU MEET is conducted to offer admission in the second year of Engineering courses in all the PU affiliated colleges. But candidates must have to pass their first year of BE in order to apply for MEET 2020. PU MEET 2020 Application Form

Candidates are requested to read the below instructions in order to fill the PU MEET Application Form 2020:-

  • Step 1: Candidates have to visit the PU MEET official website.
  • Step 2: Candidates need to register with the following details:-
    • Class 10th Details
    • Birth Date
    • Email ID
    • JEE Main Roll Number and Ranks
    • Contact Details
    • Category
  • Step 3: Login Id, Application Number, and password will appear on the window screen.
  • Step 4: Pay Fee online after Login with a unique id and password.
  • Step 5: Again Login
  • Step 6: Upload photographs, documents, and signature.
  • Step 7: Submit the Application Form and take out the print for future use.

PU MEET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Those candidates who pass Bachelor of Engineering of First-Year from any Engineering University/Institute(also applicable to those candidates already studying in affiliated colleges of Punjab University) along with conditions mentioned below:-

  • Candidates have to pass the first year of BE with a minimum of 60% percentage.
  • Also appeared in JEE Main in 2019.  

PU MEET Admit Card 2020

The Admit Card related to PU MEET 2020 will be available from 12 October 2020 on the official website. The candidates shall be allowed to appear in the test only after the verification of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.  The candidates must carry the Admit Card with them at the time of counselling process, and admission process. Candidates can download the PU MEET 2020 Admit Card from the website by the candidates using their unique Login ID and password.

PU MEET Result 2020

The result of the Entrance exam will be published on 04 November 2020 on the official website. Candidates can check their PU MEET 2020 result after login with login id and password. If a candidate founds any error/doubt in the result and wishes to verify their result, Candidates can apply for a copy view on payment of Rs. 10000/- within a given duration after the publication of the Entrance exam result and the office should evaluate & complete the whole procedure within 3 working days. In the case of, the objection will be found right in the result of the candidate after the evaluation, the result would be revised accordingly and the fee will be refunded.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for PU MEET 2020

In case of any two candidates secured the same marks in the PU MEET 2020 entrance test, the Punjab University will follow below-given instructions to break the criteria:-

  • A Candidate will be considered first among two, who got the highest marks in B.Tech/BE  first years.
  • If the tie exists, then the candidates who got the highest marks in Class 10+2 will be considered first among the two.
  • If the tie exists, then PU will be considered Date of Birth as criteria to break the tie.
