Admission through AIEEA in Central Agricultural University

The weightage through which selection of the candidates takes place for PG program is mentioned below:

  • The score obtained in the entrance exam is given 40% weightage.
  • Academic performance in UG exams also carries 40% weightage.
  • The score of Class 10 and Class 12 are given equal weightage of 10% each.

CAU P.hD. Admission 2023

  • The selection of a candidate for admission to Doctoral programs will be made on the merit with weightage out of 100 marks is as follows:
    • Written Entrance Test: 60
    • Academic scores: 20
    • Personal Interview: 20
  • Good knowledge of the English language. Selection of candidates.
  • The students have to qualify in a written examination and an interview to get admission.

CAU Application Process 2023

The step-wise application process of Central Agricultural University is as follows:
  1. Students can obtain the application form from the office of the Registrar/Dean of the respective constituent college
  2. After getting the form, provide all the available information carefully such as academic qualifications, address for communication, etc.
  3. Make sure to attach all the required documents and sign the application form
  4. The duly filled-in application form along with the relevant documents shall be submitted to reach the Registrar of the University on or before the prescribed date
The admission procedure for all shortlisted candidates of all programs is listed below:
  1. Shortlisted candidates need to attend the counseling on the prescribed date and time by their respective courses along with all original documents
  2. Based on merit, the provisional admission letter will be issued to the candidate by the Registrar, CAU, Imphal
  3. The provisionally selected candidate will have to report to the Dean of the concerned College
  4. The Dean will get all the original documents verified by a committee of three senior teachers and Assistant Registrar (Academic). After being satisfied with the genuineness of the provided certificates, the student will be admitted to the college after the payment of the prescribed fee

  • OBC/ Caste/ Tribe certificate (if applicable)
  • Two passport-size photographs

Merit List

The merit list of UG/PG and Research courses will be released within 25-30 days after the commencement of the examination. Canddiates can download the merit list by following the steps given below:

  • Go to the CAU Imphal official website.
  • Click on the “E-bulletin” tab in the menu bar
  • On the “E-bulletin” page under the “News & Updates” section, the links of all the recently released results will be listed
  • Click on the merit list link of the course for which candidates have enrolled.
  • Download the merit list and print it for future use.

Central Agricultural University

Central Agricultural University is an agricultural university at Lamphelpat, Imphal in the Indian state of Manipur. The Central Agricultural University was established by an act of Parliament, the Central Agricultural University Act 1992 (No.40 of 1992). The Act came into effect on 26 January 1993 with the issue of necessary notification by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Government of India. The university became functional with the joining of the first vice-chancellor on 13 September 1993. The jurisdiction of the university extends to seven North-Eastern Hill States: Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Tripura. It offers undergraduate teaching (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and postgraduate teaching (M.V.Sc.), research, and extension activities at the College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram.
