BAOU Admission 2023 is on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is an open university that was established in 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, Vocational, certificate, and Diploma courses. University also offers a unique course of BPP where students who have not completed their secondary education can still have a bachelor’s degree. The student should be above 18 years and write in the Gujarati language. These courses are offered through the Distance mode of education. BAOU Application Form 2023
Application form for admission at BAOU will be filled through Online mode. Candidates can check the details related to the Application form from the points given below:
- The application form will be available at BAOU official website from second week of July 2023.
- Candidates need to first register themselves by providing basic details such as email id and content details.
- Candidates are requested to check all the eligibility of course they wanted to apply.
- All the necessary documents are needed to be uploaded by the candidates.
- The candidates need to cross check all the details filled by them in the Application form for futher verification. If the details are found to be incorrect the form will immediately be rejected.
- Candidates have to pay the application fees after fillng the details in the form through online payment system.
- Candidates are advised to print the application form and fee payment receipt after the successful submission of the form.
Documents Required
The candidates should be ready with the following documents while filling the BAOU application form 2023.
- Class 10th marksheet.
- Class 10 certificate.
- Class 12th marksheet and certificate.
- Migration Certificate.
- Character certificate.
- Graduation marksheet( if required).
- Passport sized photograph (4kb to 100kb)

How to apply for BAOU Admissions 2023?
The candidates have to follow the steps below for the online registration of BAOU Application form 2023:
- The first step is to fill in all the personal details of the respective candidates such as personal id number, full name, class 10th and 12th marksheets, date of birth, nationality, address, gender etc.
- The next step is to enter all the academic qualifications such as marks, percentage, passing year etc.
- Then in the next tab enter the choice of priority. Remember to fill the choices with full focus since once filled it won’t change again.
- The candidates have to then pay the application fees (Non - refundable) by selecting the convenient payment mode.
- The fees can be paid through net banking, credit card and debit card.
- After completing the form, review all the details mentioned in the form carefully and then submit it.
- Make sure to take a printout of the application form for future references.
BAOU UG Admission 2023
The University offers various courses in undergraduate level such as BA, B.Com, BCA, BPP etc. The admission to these courses is on the basis of passing 10+2 or any other examination holding equivalent value or must have qualified BPP. BAOU PG and PG Diploma Admission 2023
BAOU offers post graduate courses in Hindi, English, sociology and Gujarati. The evalution of these courses is on the basis of 30% weightage to continuous evaluation and 70% to end semester.
