GEHU or Graphic Era Hill University is a private deemed to be a univeristy that was established in the year 1993 and was given the status of deemed univeristy in 2008. It has two campuses viz Dehradun and Bhimtal. It is accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade " A ", Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI, Notification F, 9-48/2007 U-3(A) Under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), MHRD India. It has international collaborations with Robot Research Initiative, Chatham University, USA, Astrakhan State University, Russia, University of California, Riverside Extension, etc. The university now offers 37 undergraduate and postgraduate courses across disciplines like engineering and technology, hospitality, management, allied sciences, humanities, and social sciences.
