NFSU Admission 2023: Application Process, Courses, Eligibility

NFSU Admission 2023 is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university or the merit of the candidate in the last qualifying exam.  University provides education through four institutes: the Forensic Sciences Institute, the Behavioral Sciences Institute, the Research & Development Institute, and the Institute of Management and training. Within these institutes, NFSU offers a range of regular courses. National Forensic Sciences University, formerly Gujarat Forensic Science University, is a central university in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The National Forensic Sciences University will be conducting its Common Entrance Test for 2023 in the first week of March 2023. The exam will take place from the 2nd to 3rd of July and is open to students looking to pursue MSc, MTech, MPharma, MPhil, and other courses. Registration for this test begins in the first week of March 2023. The online courses are Certificate courses offered by the Forensic Sciences Institute. NFSU Admission 2023 PG Diploma And Diploma Course

NFSU PG Diploma courses are of one-year duration. This program is only offered by the Institute of Forensic Sciences and the Institute of Behavioural Sciences. For the Institute of Forensic Sciences, the total intake capacity is around 35 seats. While for the Behavioural Sciences Institute, the total intake capacity is around 20 seats. National Forensic Sciences University offers P.h.D and M.Phil courses in a number of disciplines. The total intake capacity of the programme depends on each individual M.Phil programme. NFSU Admission 2023 Application Form

The university offers an online application mode, for which application fees are to be charged offline mode. Candidates are advised to visit the website. Candidates should follow the process for NFSU online application given below. 
  • Log on to the university NFSU official website
  • Click on the concerned Institute of the program you are applying for.
  • Select the ‘Admissions’ option and download the required application form.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 1200/- as a Demand Draft, drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar, National Forensic Sciences University, payable at Gandhinagar.
  • Send the filled-in NFSU online application form along with the Demand Draft as well as the necessary enclosures.

NFSU Entrance Exam Pattern

NFSU conducts an Entrance Exam for admission in some of the courses offered by the University. The exam typically consists of MCQ-type questions and the exam duration is 1 hour. NFSU entrance exam date will be announced by the university on the notice section of the NFSU website.

National Forensic Sciences University will begin counseling for all eligible and qualified students. National Forensic Sciences University

The National Forensic Sciences University is the world’s first and only University dedicated to Forensic and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of Gujarat through an act passed by the Gujarat Legislative Assembly dated 30th September 2008 with the objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against increasing demand of forensic experts in the country and around the world. The University is segregated into three academic departments, namely the Institute of Forensic Science (IFS), Institute of Behavioural Science (IBS), and Institute of Research & Development (IRD).
