Indian Agriculture Research Institute Admission 2023 is on the basis of an entrance exam. IARI commonly known as the Pusa Institute, is India's national institute for agricultural research, education, and extension. It has 20 divisions in total with 5 multi-disciplinary centers in Delhi & 8 regional stations. IARI at present offers MSc, M.Tech & Ph.D. degrees in 26 different disciplines to the aspirants. IARI conducts a separate entrance examination for Postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. Admission to M.Sc & M.Tech course is given on the basis of the entrance examination merit list. Whereas admission to the Ph.D. course is given on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination (80% weightage) + academic score (10% weightage) + interview (10% weightage).

Indian Agriculture Research Institute ( IARI ) offers PG courses the candidates can take admission in M.SC & M.Tech degree courses and the university offers a wide range of specialization. IARI Application process 2023
Candidates who are willing to apply for Admission can fill the IARI 2023 application form through online or offline mode. Submission of application should be done before the due date.
- IARI Admission 2023 Application Form will be available on second week of May 2023
- The application form will be available on the official website of the institute only for both M.Sc & M.Tech and Ph.D. courses.
- For degree courses, the application form will be available on different links.
- In the application form, candidates have to fill all details carefully, they have to provide all the details such as personal details, academic details, any details related to work experience, etc.
- The filled application form needs to be sent along with a demand draft of Rs 500/- (for general candidates) and Rs 250/- (for the reserves category candidates), drawn in favor of the Registrar, Post Graduate School, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi.
The candidates who wish to avail the application form offline can do so by the following two methods:
- The applicants can send a demand draft of Rs 575/- along with a written request for the application form and information bulletin mentioning the mailing address.
- The candidate can purchase the form in person by making a payment of Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for reserved category) from Syndicate Bank at Pusa Campus.
Along with the form and the DD, copies of the following documents are also submitted to the Registrar, Post Graduate School, Indian Agricultural Research Institute:
- SSC and HSC (or equivalent) mark sheet
- Graduate (or equivalent) mark sheet
- Postgraduate (or equivalent) mark sheet
- Candidates from the university that follows the course-credit system shall submit the Course Completion Certificate issued by the Registrar/Principal/Dean/Associate Dean of the university/college.
- Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH (if applicable)
- Document of evidence of continuous employment by the employer (if the candidate is employed)
- A recent passport-sized photograph

Indian Agricultural Research Institute
The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), commonly known as the Pusa Institute, is India's national institute for agricultural research, education, and extension. The name Pusa Institute is derived from the fact that the institute was originally located in Pusa Bihar as the Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research in 1911. It was then renamed the Imperial Agricultural Research Institute in 1919 and following a major earthquake in Pusa, it was relocated to Delhi in 1936. The current institute in Delhi is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The IARI was responsible for the research leading to the "Green Revolution in India" of the 1970s.
