MP Bhoj Open University which is commonly known as Bhoj University is a public entity that provides higher education through open and distant learning courses. The University gets its name from the famous Maharaja of India, Raja Bhoj. The Bhoj University was established in the year 1991 under an act by the state legislature. MPBOU gets its recognition from the University Grants Commission(UGC). The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the fields like- Management and Commerce, Information Tech. and Computer Application, Basic Science and Health sciences Programmes, Humanities, Social sciences and many more. It also provides a PG Diploma in various disciplines.
