NDVSU Admission 2023 Undergraduate Courses

NDVSU offers various courses such as B.V.Sc & A.H. and B. F. Sc at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognized board r it equivalent. Admission to these courses will be based on State Level Entrance Examination (Pre-Veterinary & Fishery Test) conducted by M. P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. Ther are a total of 87 seats for B.V.Sc & A.H. and 33 seats for B. F. Sc. The other details related to admission in undergraduate courses can be found below:

• The duration of B.V.Sc & A.H course is 5 and a half years.
• Candidates will get admission to B.V.Sc & A.H and B. F. Sc. course only if they are of 17 years on or before 31 December at the time of admission.

NDVSU Admission 2023 Postgraduate Courses

NDVSU Jabalpur offers postgraduate course such as  M.V.Sc. with seats for a total number of 38 students. The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have completed B.V.Sc & AH degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. The selection is based on the All India Entrance Examination conducted by University. The other details related to admission in M.V.Sc. can be found below:

• The duration of this course is of 2 years.
• Postgraduate degree courses are offered in 17 disciplines (15 in Veterinary & Animal Sciences, 1 each in Animal Biotechnology and Wildlife Forensic and Health).

NDVSU Admission 2023 PhD and Diploma Courses

NDVSU Jabalpur offers PhD in 11 different disciplines of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry. The total number of seats for the PhD course is 20 seats. It also offers Diploma course in Animal Husbandry with a maximum capacity of 61 students. The selection for the PhD course in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, candidates must have a Master’s degree from a recognized college or university. For admission in Diploma course, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission to PhD and Diploma courses is done based on entrance examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal or by the Veterinary Council of India. NDVSU Counselling Procedure

Candidate applying for Veterinary Colleges in Madhya Pradesh must have to register themselves for the NEET counselling 2023.  Candidates need to follow these steps for counselling procedure of NDVSU:

• Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.
• Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
• Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
• Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
•  New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
•  Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.

Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, formerly Madhya Pradesh Pashu-Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya is a state agricultural university located at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established in 2009 by the Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 2009 of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It imparts education in different branches of veterinary science and fisheries management. The university has three constituent veterinary colleges in Jabalpur, Mhow and Rewa. Other institutes it includes are Fishery College, School of Wildlife Forensic and Health and Animal Biotechnology Centre all in Jabalpur. It also has five polytechnic colleges awarding two year diplomas.
