NIT Delhi Admission 2023 is based on JEE Main, CCMT and CCMN for B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.Sc courses respectively. Whereas admission counselling is done through CSAB & JOSAA. National Institute of Technology New Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT(s) established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament. It has been declared as the institute of national importance. It offers various degree courses of UG, PG, and Doctorate in the field of Engineering and Technology disciplines. B.Tech admission is done on the basis of JEE Main exams followed by counselling. Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of GATE scores and for Ph.D. course admission candidates have to appear in the entrance test followed by the interview process. NIT Delhi B.Tech Courses Admission 2023

NIT Delhi offers a bachelor's degree program B.Tech in 3 different specializations. There are 60 seats in the undergraduate program and the admission is done through JEE Main and Counselling through Central Seat Allocation Board (CASB). For Admissions in M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.)  Through CCMN 2023

CCMN-2023 is a common platform for candidates to apply for  M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.) admissions to NITs and CFTI , based on their JAM score of year 2023. This year 19 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and SLIET Longowal are participating for the CCMN counselling process.

NIT Delhi Ph.D. Admission 2023

NIT Delhi offers doctorate programs in six specializations in the fields of Engineering and Sciences. The eligibility for the Ph.D. program is that the candidates must have done M.Tech with graduation in Engineering with minimum of 60% marks and 55% marks for SC/ST/Others. NIT Delhi Application Procedure

Following are the steps which should be followed by the candidates to fill the application form:
For B.Tech Admission-
The process for applying to the B.Tech. program is in online mode. The candidates who want to take admission must appear for the JEE Main exam. Seps are:
  • Visit the official website of JEE Main.
  • Then register for the online form
  • Enter the mandatory details carefully
  • Complete the application form
  • Tick the declaration
  • Then click submit.
  • Upload the documents
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 650/-

Counselling Procedure

All the candidates who have successfully appeared forJEE Main Examination are eligible to register for JoSAA.
  • Candidates need to register on the website of JoSAA.
  • JEE Main login credentials (JEE Main application number and password) are used to log in to the JoSAA website.
  • Lock the choices
  • Take the printout of the selected options.

For M.Tech Program:

The candidates who want to appear for the GATE Exams must fill the online application form available on the official website of GATE:
  • The application fee is Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 750/- for Women/ST/SC and PWD candidates).
  • The application form fee should be submitted online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or e- Challan.
  • After the GATE exams, the candidates must appear for CCMT counselling.

CCMT Counselling for M.Tech. Program:

CCMT authorities select candidates for counselling on the basis of prescribed eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must have a valid score of GATE
  • Candidates must score a minimum of 60% or at least 6.5 CGPA (on 10 point scale) in all semesters of the qualifying degree.
  • SC/ST candidates must score a minimum of 55% or 6.0 CGPA (on 10 point scale) in all semesters in the qualifying degree.
  • Candidates appearing in their final exams are also eligible to apply provided that they have to submit their provisional mark sheet with no backlog papers.

For Ph.D. Program

Following steps can be followed to fill the form of Ph.D. programs in NIT Delhi.
  • The registration process for admission is offline.
  • Candidates are required to register themselves by visiting the college campus on the scheduled dates.
  • The applicant is required to fill the registration form and submit it to the DPGC convener
  • The screening committee will verify the eligibility of the candidate.

Documents Required For Admission/Registration

Following documents are required to fill the application forms:
  • Original admission letter and Original Document Verification Certificate (Original DVC) issued by CSAB/JoSAA.
  • Four passport size photographs
  • Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (Last Round)
  • Marksheet of class 10th and 12th/Diploma and certificate
  • Passing certificate of 12th/Diploma
  • Photo ID Proof
  • Category certificate (OBC-NCL/SC/ST) ( OBC certificate must be issued on or after April 1 if applicable
  • Undertaking in the required format (OBC- NCLCandidates only) if applicable
  • PWD certificate if applicable
  • Character certificate, Transfer Certificate, and Migration Certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
