Admission Process

Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) offers admission in B.Ed. Spl. Ed. ODL on the basis of the candidate’s academic scores. A merit list is prepared on the basis of candidate’s marks in academics.

• An applicant can only apply to one of the bachelor’s programs.
• Pay the fees at any branch of Allahabad Bank using the pre-printed challan collected at the time of online submission.
• Application forms photocopies must be signed and stamped by the person attending their study center.
• With the form, all the necessary documents, photographs and copy of challan obtained from bank must be submitted at the time of admission.
• Those who habv a BPP or Vocational background can directly buy the prospectus of INR 150 from study centers.
• An application once submitted along with fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
• Merit List and other information regarding counselling for admission will br notified by the university on the official website.

• For Arts Stream: there are eight elective subjects, i.e. Bengali (EBG), English (EEG), History (EHI), Economics (EEC), Political Science (EPS), Public Administration (EPA), Sociology (ESO) and Education (EED).
• For Science Stream: University offers six subjects those are Physics (EPH), Chemistry (ECH), Mathematics (EMT), Botany (EBT), Zoology (EZO) and Geography (EGR).
• For Commerce: (ECO) is offered from the commerce stream.

• Candidates can click on the link
• A new page with the Application form will appear and now candidates can enter all the asked details correctly in the form.
• Then candidates are required to upload the required images.
• Now candidates can submit the Application Form along with the Application Fees.
• Then take a print out of the fee receipt and application form. 

For Certificate and PG Diploma programs

• Pay a visit to the study centre.
• Examine the qualifying requirements for the course for which the individual is applying.
• After confirming your eligibility, proceed to a nationalised bank and obtain a demand draught in the sum of INR 900 in favour of Netaji Subhas Open University, payable in Kolkata.
• Return to the same study centre, bringing all photocopies of required documents as well as one passport-size photos.
• After writing your name and phone number on the back of the Demand Draft, submit it to the study centre.
• The candidate will receive a " Application for Student Enrollment Form (B& W)" after submitting the DD.
• Fill out the form and send it in with self-attested copies of all required documents and a passport-size photo.
• The candidate's enrolment certificate will be generated after all of information is submitted.
• As a result, the applicant must submit all of the following documents:
  "Application for Student Enrolment Form" was completed.
• Photocopies of required documents that have been self-attested.
• A demand draught in the amount specified is required.

Note: One copies of the Demand Draft and the enrolment form, fully stamped and signed by the person who will be accompanying him/her to the centre, must also be kept as proof of submission.

NSOU Result

• Log on the NSOU University website
• Navigate the ‘Results’ page through ‘Examination’ section under the ‘student zone’ tab
• Choose ‘Result category’ among the listed result links.
• Select a link, and select ‘Year’ from the drop-down menu for which they want to view the result
• Then candidates can choose to view the result via other website listed after the links
• After checking, you will be redirected to another page.
• Enter the Roll number and click on ‘Get Result’
• The result will be displayed on the screen then save.

NSOU Admit Card 2023

• Go to the official website
• NSOU Exam forms submission & Admit Card printing portal will appear
• Under the login, section enter the User Id (Enrolment Number) and password
• Click the login button
• Check for the admit card and take the print.
