RSV Tirupati is a deemed university situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and was established in 1956 by the Government of India. Firstly the university was established only to offer education for the Sanskrit language. Now the university is famous for its other courses. National Sanskrit University used to teach only traditional Sastras and Pedagogy. National Sanskrit University offers various courses in the streams of Arts and Science at the UG level. These programmes are offered under a variety of specializations for students for a period of three years. Candidates must have passed the class 10+2 examination for admission in these courses. RSV Tirupati PG Admission 2023
The University offers the M.A. course under three different specializations, all for a duration of two years. It also offers M.Sc.(Master of Science), MAM (Master of Advanced Management) degrees for a duration of two years except for the PG Diploma which has a period of one year. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the respective field for admission to these courses. Candidates must have obtained a minimum percentage for admission which varies from course to course. RSV BEd And MEd Admission 2023
The Professional Programmes offered in the university are Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) and Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) monitored by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Duration of B.Ed. is two years, whereas, duration of M.Ed is one year. Candidates need to appear in Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test (CSSET) and Combined Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (CSAET) for admission to B.Ed and M.Ed programme respectively. RSV M.Phil And Ph.D. Admission 2023
RSV offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses at the doctorate level for research aspirants. M.Phil programme is offered for the duration of one year and the Ph.D. course is offered for a period of two years. For admission in the Ph.D. programme, candidates have to go through Combined Vidya Varidhi Entrance Test (CVVET). The candidates who want admission in the Ph.D. programme and have cleared NET/JRF/Lectureship test/SLET, M.Phil in Sanskrit/Education are required to pass in CVVET.

RSV Application Process 2023
The candidates can apply for admissions by the following mentioned steps :
- Visit the Official website of the university i.e. http://nsktu.ac.in/.
- Then register yourself by providing basic details such as name, contact number, email, etc.
- The candidate will receive the automatically generated User Id and Password on the registered mail id.
- Then after registering, candidates can apply for admissions.
- Fill all the important information asked in the admission form.
- Attach all the asked/ required documents in the prescribed format.
- Upload the recent Passport size photograph and Signatures of the Applicant.
National Sanskrit University Scholarships
National Sanskrit University offers the following scholarships to candidates studying in various courses:
- 25 for Prak-Sastri, 5 for each Sastra at Sastri level, and 10 for each Sastra at Acharya level will be awarded as per rules.
- Scholarships will be awarded to students on the basis of their percentage of marks, merit obtained in the last qualifying examination.
- The scholarship will be given only for 10 months in a year and the scholarship will be sanctioned at the beginning of the year only.
- The sanction and payment of scholarships to the students will also depend on the conduct and discipline of the respective students. The University has the right to withdraw or disqualify any student to draw the scholarship at any point of time due to misbehavior, indiscipline, or involvement in unlawful, anti-social, and other activities disturbing the general discipline and academic peaceful atmosphere in the University campus and Hostels.
- Swami Sivananda Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to meritorious students of the Acharya course
