SNDT Mumbai Admission Process

Candidates have to fill the application form online mode. Before filling the application form, candidates can be advised to go through the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. Candidates can check the process to apply for SNDT Women's University from the following points:

  • Visit the official website of the university https://sndt.ac.in/ and navigate yourself to the ‘Online Admissions’ tab 
  • Go to Online Application for Admissions and click on the link for online registration and enter a valid contact number with an email id.
  • Verify your registration, select the program you want to pursue, and start with the application process
  • Fill in the form with all the correct information and upload scanned documents within the required dimensions.
  • Submit the form along with the payment of the required application fee as per your course and category.

The following original certificates together with attested copies are required to be submitted with the eligibility form, for a student who joins immediately after passing the H.S.C. examination.

Reservation Criteria 

Seats will be reserved for Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, and Physical Disability, as per Government rules.

Entrance Exam

SNDT conducts entrance exams for admission to Ph.dcourses. The university conducts PET for admissions to various subjects. The entrance exam is conducted in the month of June. The notification is released in the month of May. Students can access the syllabus for the PET from the official website. The result of PET would be released on the official website after the conduction of the exam.

SNDT Women’s University is the first Women’s university in India as well as in South-East Asia. The University was founded in 1916. It is on about 54 acres of land and has 4 campuses with 39 departments and 13 institutions. SNDTWU has a Nursery school as a laboratory for Human Development Department, Centres for Women's Studies, Inclusion and Exclusion, Distance Education, and has affiliated institutions for doctoral programmes. Additional campus facilities such as Academic Zone, Canteen, Computer Lab, Library, Medical Facilities, Cls. Room, Placement, Residential Institute, Residential Zone, Residential Faculty Zone are also there.
