TNAU Results 2020: Semester Exam results, How to check?

TNAU Result 2020 will be released by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. TNAU will publish the semester-wise (Odd/Even) results for the exams conducted by it for all Regular/Distance courses. TNAU conducts semester exams twice a year. University helds even semester examinations in April- May while odd semester exams are conducted in November-December. Results for the same are published within the three- four months of examination. University is also supposed to release the compartment results, revaluation result, Toppers List and other notification along with the semester results which students can download from the TNAU website.

TNAU Result 2020

Tamil Nadu  Agricultural University will release the current semester results soon on their official website for 2020. The University has already declared the semester results for the year 2019- 2020. Candidates can check the result on their official website. TNAU provides an opportunity to revaluate the copy of Examination answer sheet of B.Sc, M.Sc and all other courses for the students who are not satisfied with the marks secured by them in the semester exam. The candidates have to visit the official website and check the respective courses and year/semester exam result through the roll number and registration number. 

How to download TNAU Result 2020?

The University will release the semester exam result in online mode at its official website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download TNAU Result 2020.
  • Step 1: Visit the TNAU Official Website.
  • Step 2: Click on the ‘Academics'  tab from the home tab.
  • Step 3: Tap on the Results tab from the 'Dropdown' list.
  • Step 4: After that, select the course for which the candidate wants to check the result.
  • Step 5: Enter the Login credentials such as User ID and Password. Click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
  • Step 6: Result will appear on the screen.
  • Step 7: Candidate are advised to download and print the result for future use.

TNAU Semester Exams

The semester final examinations shall be held at the end of each semester in each course. The final theory examination in UG will be two and a half hours for the practical oriented courses and three hours for the courses with theory alone. The duration for all PG and Ph.D examination is three hours. lt shall be the responsibility of the university to conduct the theory portion of the semester final examination. Practical examinations shall be conducted by the respective colleges. ln affiliated colleges/universities, the final practical examination shall be conducted and evaluated by the - nominated teacher from University College.

Revaluation of Answer Sheet

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University provides an opportunity by which candidates who are not satisfied by the marks secured by them can apply for revaluation or re totalling. The revaluation forms will be available online at the university's official website. If a student wants to appeal to higher authorities for revaluation / retotalling, it should be done in writing in the prescribed format to the Controller of Examinations through the Dean's concerned not later than 10 working days after the announcement of the marks of that particular examination. Appeals received thereafter will be summarily rejected. The fee for revaluation / retotalling is Rs.600 /- per subject to be paid in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the Controller of Examinations. Revaluation is not permissible normally for practical examinations. However, the Dean of College, if satisfied, may constitute a committee consisting of at least three faculty members who may advise him on the disposal of petitions to moderate the marks of practical examinations. The report of the Committee in such cases should be submitted within two days. The decision of the Dean of the college will be final.

TNAU Revaluation Application

After the declaration of result, in case any student is not satisfied with his/ her result. Then, He/ She can opt for the Revaluation of the subject exam. Candidates can apply for the rechecking of the answer sheet within 10 days post the declaration of the results. Personal Identification or xerox copy of answer sheet is not permitted by the University. The result of rechecking shall also be declared within a month, students can check the result after revaluation from the official website by following the steps given below to check revaluation result:

  • Visit the official website of the University i.e. www.tnau.ac.in.
  • Navigate to the Results Section which is available in the notification tab.
  • Click on the Revaluation Result link available on the notice board tab.
  • Then,  select your courses year/ branch, which results in what you want to check.
  • Enter roll number and then press the submit button
  • Your Result will be appearing on your screen.
  • Candidate must take printout of the result for future reference.
